This Privacy Policy explains how Lander Craft Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you interact with our AI-powered WhatsApp Chatbot (the "Bot"). This policy covers only the AI / natural language processing portion of the product and does not address the separate trading or financial services that may be provided through other parts of the system.
2. Scope
This policy applies to data that is processed for the purposes of AI-powered message understanding, intent detection, response generation, and related logging/quality-improvement activities. It does not replace any broader privacy or compliance documents covering trading, payments, or KYC.
3. Information We Collect
a. Message Content
We collect the actual messages you send to the Bot, including text, images, voice notes, and documents. These are processed to understand your request and to generate replies.
b. WhatsApp Metadata
We collect metadata supplied by WhatsApp/Meta such as your phone number, WhatsApp display name (when available), timestamps, and delivery/read status. We do not collect your WhatsApp contact list or other data outside the conversation unless you explicitly provide it.
c. AI Interaction Logs
We maintain logs of the AI interactions including the message sent to the AI provider (e.g., OpenAI), the AI's response, and any extracted intents and entities. Logs are used for debugging, performance monitoring, and improving AI accuracy.
d. Derived Data
We may derive structured data (for example: intent = 'sell_crypto', entities = {"coin":"USDT","amount":200}) from your messages to power workflows. This derived data is treated as part of the conversation data.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To process and respond to your messages via AI-based natural language understanding.
- To extract intents and entities so the system can take appropriate actions or provide relevant replies.
- To improve the performance and accuracy of the Bot (e.g., through anonymized analysis and internal model tuning).
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or other malicious activity.
- To troubleshoot and debug issues with the Bot.
5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
To operate the AI features we rely on a small set of trusted third-party service providers. We only share data that is necessary for the provider to perform its function.
a. Meta / WhatsApp Cloud API
WhatsApp (Meta) is the communication platform used to send and receive messages. Their processing of messages is governed by WhatsApp's separate privacy policies.
b. AI / NLP Providers (e.g., OpenAI)
Messages (or portions of messages) are sent to third-party AI providers for intent extraction and response generation. We configure providers to process the data solely for message analysis. We do not permit third-party AI providers to use your messages for independent training or advertising use unless you are explicitly notified and give consent.
c. Hosting & Infrastructure
We use cloud hosting providers for servers and data storage. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to follow security and confidentiality measures.
6. Data Retention
We retain AI interaction logs and message data for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide the service, typically up to 90 days for operational needs and troubleshooting. Retention may be longer when required to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Derived or anonymized analytics may be retained longer for model improvement.
7. Data Security
We apply multiple security controls to protect your data:
- Encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all external communications.
- Access control and least-privilege policies for staff and systems.
- Encryption of sensitive logs at rest where feasible.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability scanning.
Despite these measures, no system is completely immune to security risks. We will promptly notify affected parties and regulators as required by law in the event of a data breach.
8. Anonymization & Model Training
We may use anonymized or aggregated interaction data to improve our AI systems. "Anonymized" means removing or transforming personally identifying fields (such as phone numbers) so they cannot reasonably be re-linked to an identifiable individual. We will not use raw, identifiable user messages for model training without explicit consent.
9. Children
The Bot is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, please contact us for deletion.
